App overview >
The app has three sections. Control acts as your home screen. The home screen shows the weather and air quality of your current location along with all the zones that you have permission to control. The schedules page is where you can view, modify, and create your active and inactive schedules. My view is your profile view. In this screen you change the appearance of the app by adding your own photos or choosing from a set. You can also learn how intelligence works to automatically adjust the window tints. If you have any questions or concerns, you can also reach out through the need help section.
Schedules >
Schedules allow you to set times for your windows to remain in a tint level of your choosing. Schedules can be set up to repeat daily or weekly. A schedule can also apply to multiple zones. You can also add a new schedule if you would like to override intelligence. For example, you would like to schedule the windows to stay dark on Sundays. To incorporate this new schedule, you can click on the 'set a schedule' button. Set the timing, duration, desired room and tint level. Click save on the top right. You will be redirected to the schedules screen where the new schedule will show up. To edit an existing schedule, click on the schedule you wish to modify. On this screen you will be able to change the timing, duration, room, and tint level. You can temporarily disable a schedule and switch it back on when you’re ready.
Controlling your windows >
Zones are groups of windows that function together. Each room in your space is zoned independently and they have their individual schedules. Zones are visible on your home screen. To view or change the tint level, tap on the desired zone. There are four tint states. Clear is the default level and lets in the most daylight and warmth. Light manages some solar heat while remaining clear. Medium diverts glare and heat while allowing for daylight. Max controls glare and keeps you cool. Drag the circle to override the tint immediately. The default override duration is set for 1 hour and that can be adjusted.
Sleep In with View >
Sleep In with View allows you to create a Sleep In that aligns with your morning routine so you can start your day with natural light. You can access this feature on the Control page by clicking on the button that says, “Sleep In with View” and on the Schedules page by clicking on your next sleep in time. The page shows you the sunrise and sunset times for the current day, gives you access to your upcoming sleep ins and allows you to create new Sleep Ins. To create a Sleep In, click on the add button on the top right and set a name and date. Set up your bedtime and wake up time. For example, you sleep at 11 pm and would like your windows to lighten by the time you wake up at 8 am, so you will set your wake up time to be at 8:00 am. At that time, the glass will start clearing and will remain clear for an hour before reverting back to intelligence. After, choose which days you want this to happen and how often it reoccurs. Pick your desired room for the Sleep In to occur. Click save on the top right. Once saved, you will be redirected to the Sleep In page where you can view your new Sleep in and all upcoming Sleep Ins. You can edit your upcoming Sleep Ins by clicking on the Sleep In you would like to modify. There you will be able to adjust the date, bedtime and wake up times, duration, and room. You can also delete your Sleep In by clicking on the bottom of the page.
