RXR Optimizes Building Performance and Experience
RXR is one of the largest real estate owners in New York City, with over 25 million square feet of buildings and some of the most iconic skyscrapers in Manhattan such as 75 Rockefeller Plaza, the Helmsley Building, and Starrett Lehigh Building.
Faced with a growing list of point solutions and siloed data sets, RXR embarked on a digital transformation journey to establish a centralized data lake across their operational systems and disparate sensors and develop a unified dashboard to optimize building performance, reduce energy consumption, improve air quality, and track and improve occupant experience.
RXR initially deployed View Building Performance across their entire commercial office portfolio in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to monitor building occupancy levels, indoor air quality performance, and facemask and social distancing compliance. With View, RXR is continuing to activate additional use cases focused on energy reduction, operational efficiency, and enhanced tenant experience.
