49 South Van Ness, with floor-to-ceiling View Smart Windows throughout, has won The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Leading Edge Award, the AIA SF Chapter 2021 Architecture Merit Award, and was selected as a 2021 International Partnering Institute Partnered Project of the Year. Congratulations to Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Pankow Builders, Related California, and New Hudson Facades.
Forbes named the Lake Nona Wave Hotel a top southern destination of 2021. The hotel is part of a 17-square mile visionary community developed by Tavistock Development Company. View Smart Windows have already been installed in five buildings in Lake Nona, Florida, including the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, and will be installed in more than 30 additional buildings. We are proud to contribute to this innovative undertaking, which we believe is a model for the smart cities of the future.
Congratulations to Greenworks Lending from Nuveen for closing their first C-PACE project at 730 Third Avenue. Over 1,100 View Smart Windows installed throughout help Nuveen achieve the energy reductions required to meet New York’s Local Law 97 and maintain LEED Gold Certification.

Google announced its intent to purchase a St. John’s Terminal from Oxford Properties for $2.1 billion. The 1.3 million square foot building has View Smart Windows installed throughout. At $1615 per square foot, this is one of the largest real estate transactions in NYC.
Schnitzer West sold Civica Cherry Creek to Metlife for $921 per square foot, a record-breaking price for the region. View Smart Windows were a key feature that helped Civica achieve the highest weighted average rent in Denver.
GFP Real Estate and Northwind Group have made a deal to sell 100 Pearl, with View Smart Windows installed in its coveted penthouses, to German investor Commerz Real for $850 milion.
Recent View Installations
The Durst Organization recently completed renovations of 825 Third Avenue, a 530k square foot, 40-story office tower in New York City. View Smart Windows are installed throughout the building, and select suites include immersive displays that transform the windows into transparent, digital screens. 825 Third Avenue is also the largest installation of our latest generation of smart windows. The Versante Hotel recently opened at the International Trade Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia. Guests in each of Versante’s 100 luxury rooms and suites enjoy stunning views of the North Shore Mountains, Fraser River, and Vancouver Island through View Smart Windows.Read more.

Atria Development Corp has selected View Smart Windows for their new 300k square foot luxury multi-family project, 80 Bond Street, in the greater Toronto area. Schnitzer West joins the ranks of developers with multiple View Smart Windows installs, selecting View for a second project, The Current, River North in Denver. This 235k square foot Class-A office building, designed to promote tenant health, is a joint venture between Schnitzer West and Craft Companies. Read more.
Ah Haa School for the Arts recently opened in Telluride, Colorado, with View Smart Windows installed throughout. View was selected to enhance the experience of artists and students working in the thoughtfully designed studios and classrooms. Read more.
NTT Research unveiled their new innovation headquarters, the NTT OneVision Center, in Sunnyvale, California. View Smart Windows were selected to promote a sustainable and healthy work environment. The property was developed by Hines. Read more.
